David let out an awkward chuckle and replied, “You can't really hold on to your money if you play cards a lot!”

Jason jabbed a finger at Abel and said with a grin, “He goes to the club every day!”

“As if you don't!” Abel retorted with a disdainful sneer.

Joel, the leader of the kidnappers, let out a sigh. “Basically, we'll enjoy ourselves after we get paid and end up spending all of the money within a few days.”

Zachary's lips twitched slightly. “You guys really should change your spending habits... Does your boss not give you guys any benefits or something?”

Jason shrugged helplessly. “Our level isn't high enough for that!”

Zachary's eyes lit up when he heard that. “Have you guys ever considered working for someone else? Maybe you'll find someone who pays better than your boss!”

“Who could possibly be better than our boss? Besides, we don't even know if the new boss would trust us! As for our current boss, well...”

Jason didn't have to continue as everyone knew what he was trying to say.

“You guys could work for me instead! I guarantee that you guys will be provided with houses and wives!” Zachary said with an innocent look on his face.

Jason and the others exchanged glances before asking doubtfully, “You? You're just a kid! How could you possibly give us anything?”

“Hey, don't underestimate me! Don't you guys know who I am? I wouldn't make an offer unless I'm sure I can provide it! You can doubt me all you like, but you should have no reason to doubt my daddy!” Zachary said proudly.

The men froze when they heard what he said.

Of course, we know Benjamin could surely afford to provide us with those benefits mentioned, but would he even accept us?

“If you guys work for me, I guarantee that your lives will change for the better. I mean, just look at those working for my daddy! Aren't they all living great lives right now? They get to enjoy themselves for free at the businesses owned by my daddy! Not only do they have social gatherings and banquets very often, but they also get to go on company trips every year! My daddy doesn't like gamblers, so I will need you guys to quit gambling. Don't worry. I'll do what I can to help you guys out with that. I know this is all a little hard to believe, which is why we will sign a contract. That way, it will have legal effects. If you guys work for us, I will give you guys a house each. You will get to keep the house after five years even if you choose to leave.”

Jason and the others were starting to feel tempted by the offer. “You're not messing with us, are you? Do you really have that much money? Would your daddy even want to hire us? You told us earlier that your daddy doesn't love you kids!”

Zachary tensed up and let out an awkward chuckle as he replied, “Don't worry. We may not be on very good terms with Benjamin, but we are close with Gavin. He is rich, and I have my own savings too. We have more than enough money to buy a couple of houses. This offer will be effective as soon as you release me and Tim. So, what's it going to be?”

Jason and the others were a little hesitant. As Zachary's offer sounded a little too generous, they couldn't help but question if it was just an empty promise. If that were the case, then not only would they receive nothing in return, but Justin would also hunt them down in revenge.
