You More Than Anything In The World

Chapter 1242 Keep Her In The Dark

“Benjamin, you!” Justin was beside himself with rage, but he was restrained and couldn't break free.

“Uncle Benjamin, I was wrong. I'm my father's only son. Please spare me this once!” Julian's face was white as a ghost.

Taking in Benjamin's ruthless demeanor, he feared there was no room for him to wiggle out of the predicament.

“Spare you this time? What did I tell you before, Julian?”

Benjamin glared at his nephew sinisterly. Julian felt as if he was staring into the face of Death.

“Uncle Benjamin...” Julian genuinely regretted his actions. “Justin incited me. I was a fool for listening to him.”

Benjamin waved his hand. Ethen and Jack bound Justin and Julian, gagged their mouths, and dragged them out at once.

Ethen and Jack personally escorted the two wrongdoers to the sea while Benjamin drove back to the hospital.

The two kids had been brought to the hospital by Shaun and Kingsley in advance.

Before he reached, Arissa called. Benjamin answered his phone with the Bluetooth system of his car. “Yes? What's the matter?”

“Benjamin, I've been feeling uneasy the whole day. Is everything all right with you?”

Arissa couldn't detect anything unusual from his voice, but she feared he might be hiding something from her.

“Everything's fine. Don't overthink. I'm on my way to the hospital now,” he comforted her, not allowing her to detect anything amiss.

Hearing that he was on his way, Arissa let out a sigh of relief. Since Benjamin's fine, could something bad have happened to the kids? They usually come to visit me at the hospital after school. Why did they go straight home today?

Overwrought, she dialed Zachary's number.

Zachary was shocked to see Arissa's incoming call. “It's Mommy!”

Tim had a fever and was somewhat delirious. He felt uncomfortable all over. Hearing their mother had called, Tim suddenly realized how dearly he missed Arissa. “Mommy...”

Zachary wiped Tim's sweat and reminded the latter, “Tim, I'll talk to Mommy first. Don't make a sound. If you do, Mommy will know something's wrong, and she'll be worried.”

“Okay. Hurry up and pick up the call. Don't keep Mommy waiting.” Tim bit his lip. His forehead was covered in sweat. Shaun held him, not letting him scratch any part of his body.

After the call connected, Zachary spoke with a normal voice. “Mommy, do you miss me? Why are you calling me again?”

“Sweetheart, where are you?” Arissa asked, listening closely to the sounds on the other end of the line.

“We're home. Mommy, do you need something?”

Arissa couldn't detect anything unusual. Still, she couldn't shake off her perturbation.

“Are you coming over to the hospital, Sweetheart?” She felt ill at ease not seeing her children.

“Of course. We'll be there a little late. Are you bored, Mommy? If you are, you can watch some television shows. We'll head to the hospital as soon as we're ready. Mommy, we're a little busy here, so I'm going to hang up now. See you later!” Zachary ended the call after finishing his sentences.
