You More Than Anything In The World

Chapter 1243 Is Tim Poisoned

After bringing the two children back to the hospital, Shaun hurriedly arranged for blood tests to be done.

Tim's face was covered in red bumps, like tiny blisters, and the rash had spread across his body.

Zachary could not hold him still, so Kingsley had to step in to prevent him from scratching his body. “Tim, try to bear with it. Scratching will break your skin. Your daddy and mommy will be worried about you.”

“Let me give you a rub. We'll be able to give you a shot once Mr. Bailey is done with the test. Just hang in there, okay?” Kingsley coaxed Tim while gently rubbing his body with his palm.

Zachary knitted his brows while biting his lip. He, too, joined Kingsley in rubbing his body.

“I'm so itchy!” Tim's breathing became heavy.

Seeing how miserable the boy was, Kingsley felt sorry for him.

“Why is he like that? Can we give him some shots?” Kingsley anxiously asked one of the doctors.

Shaun, before he left, had instructed the other doctors to monitor Tim's condition.

Meanwhile, Benjamin had also arrived at the hospital. He rushed to the emergency unit when he learned that Tim was there. “How's Tim?”

Seeing Tim, who was in Kingsley's arms, covered in red bumps, Benjamin could not help but feel a pang of distress.

“Why isn't there anyone treating him?” he bellowed.

Everyone started panicking. “Dr. Bailey is conducting a lab test right now. Let's get Tim on a drip first.”

All the doctors and nurses sprang into action, bustling around to attend to their duties.

With a furrowed brow, Benjamin tried calling Shaun but could not reach him.

Benjamin's face darkened instantly.

“Shaun should be in the lab now. As soon as he arrived at the hospital, he went straight to run the blood tests. Don't worry too much,” Kingsley reassured Benjamin.

“All right! I got the results!” Before Benjamin could speak, Shaun rushed over, gasping for breath.

He immediately handed the results to a colleague. “Give the boy the medicine right now.”

“What's wrong with Tim?” Benjamin stared at Shaun, his heart filled with worry.

Zachary also expressed his concern. “Mr. Bailey, how's Tim? Is it serious?”

Shaun, still catching his breath, raised his hand to signal them to wait, struggling to speak between breaths.

“Just tell us, how's Tim?” Kingsley's eagerness to know the results grew when Shaun did not respond immediately.

“Is he poisoned?” Benjamin glared at Shaun, anxiously awaiting a response.

After taking a few deep breaths, Shaun replied, “Don't worry, he's not poisoned. He's just having an allergic reaction. We'll administer a drip, and he'll be fine.”

Benjamin narrowed his eyes, appearing somewhat doubtful. “Are you sure it's just an allergy? His condition seems severe.”

Shaun's lips twitched slightly. “Different people react differently to various allergens. Gavin had also experienced allergic reactions before. Tim's condition is relatively mild. In more severe cases, some patients might even go into shock!”

Benjamin reached out and gently took Tim from Kingsley's arms.

He called out in a softer tone. “Tim.”

“Daddy...” The little boy opened his eyes, looking weak, and glanced at Benjamin.

Benjamin's heart trembled as he caressed his son's tiny face. “Hang in there. The doctor will give you the injection soon, and you'll feel better after that.”
