Benjamin stared at Shaun sharply, expressing his doubt. “Is she fine?”

Shaun nodded confidently, saying, “Arissa's fine. She's just asleep.”

Arissa is sleeping as she's tired. Why is he so anxious?

Kingsley and Ethen let out a sigh of relief, gazing at Benjamin with a smile. Obviously, the latter was too anxious to keep a clear mind.

Benjamin glanced at them, and they quickly stopped smiling.

“It's comforting to know that Mrs. Graham is well. Undergoing a checkup is a wise decision, alleviating our concerns.” Ethen broke the ensuing silence.

Kingsley also hastened to add, “Indeed, indeed. The most crucial thing is Arissa's well-being. We shall take our leave now, so as not to interrupt your rest!”

Kingsley tugged at Ethen's clothes, leading the way out of the ward, afraid that Benjamin might stop him and give him a lesson.

“Don't worry. Arissa is fine. It's normal for pregnant women to feel sleepy!” Shaun comforted Benjamin with a few words, then promptly followed Kingsley and Ethen out.

Benjamin glanced at them. He didn't have the time to settle scores with them right now and commanded in a deep voice, “Close the door!”

Shaun quickly agreed, casually closing the door behind him. Their gazes met briefly before he hurriedly looked away.

Kingsley patted his chest, feeling somewhat relieved. “Benjamin didn't find fault with me. That's great!”

The corner of Shaun's mouth twitched slightly as he teased, “Benjamin is just too busy to deal with you right now!”

There was a possibility Benjamin might settle scores with him later.

“I'm heading back. Mr. Watts, are you leaving now?” Ethen didn't have as much free time as Kingsley, so he wanted to go back and rest early.

“I'll leave with you!” Kingsley waved at Shaun, then went downstairs with Ethen.

In the ward, Benjamin stayed by the bed, watching Arissa for a while. Once he was sure she was just asleep, he went about his own business.

In the middle of the night, Arissa woke up only to find Benjamin still engrossed in his work, his brows furrowed in concentration.

“Why are you still awake? What time is it now?”

Upon hearing her voice, Benjamin raised his gaze and replied, “I've just concluded a meeting, and once I finalize one more document, I'll go to sleep.”

With business overseas, it was inevitable for him to schedule meetings across different time zones. Benjamin often found himself dealing with overseas matters in the middle of the night.

He got up and walked over, ruffling her hair. “Do you want to go to the bathroom?”

“Mm!” Arissa was still sleepy.

Benjamin bent down to pick her up, and she nestled softly in his arms. “What time is it?”

“Half past twelve!” Benjamin lowered his gaze to look at her. Seeing that she was just sleepy, he felt much relieved.

“Go take a quick shower and get some sleep. Work will never end, so you can continue tomorrow. Stop staying up late all the time!” Arissa nagged, but Benjamin didn't find it annoying. He even responded in the affirmative.

Once she was done, he carried her out and didn't return to his work. Instead, he went to take a shower.
