Olivia hurriedly nodded. “Of course, I agree! Why wouldn't I agree to such a brilliant idea? It's my son's honor to be Lettie's husband. I'm sure he's just bewitched by that woman, causing him not to marry the wonderful Lady Scarlett. Naturally, he'll like Lettie when they both have a child together.”

Tamara curled her lips into a smirk. “When Lettie is pregnant with Justin's child, she will have to treat Justin's uncle as her own uncle. Don't worry, Mrs. Xuereb. When the time comes, the Fletcher family will do our best to help your brother get out of his predicament.” Everything is progressing smoothly, just as I expected. This has saved me a lot of trouble.

Upon hearing that, Olivia was overjoyed. “Thank you, Mrs. Fletcher. Don't worry. We have Justin's semen kept in storage. I'll go retrieve it later and pass it to you so that you can transfer it into Lettie's uterus.” Doing this can make Justin stay away from that woman and also help my family out of the difficulties they're facing. The results of the investigation into Howard, Jacques, and the other involved people Raiden had ordered the person in charge of the Department of Justice to do soon came out.

According to the report, Howard colluded with Jacques, and together, they forced various departments to frame Bailey by giving false testimonies.

The moment that announcement was made, it caused an uproar in the outside world. While the public felt like they had done Bailey wrong, they also requested for those scoundrels to be severely punished.

In the end, the Department of Justice arrested Howard and the others involved in accordance with the law. Then, they were all sent to court.

Now, everyone was just waiting for the court to gather and validate the legitimacy of all pieces of evidence before meting out the relevant punishments for Howard and the others.

Meanwhile, at the West residence, the sounds of weeping filled the living room. Laura hugged her husband tightly and wailed, “What am I supposed to do with my life if you get taken away?”

Jacques' face remained ashen. From the moment Raiden arrived at Hallsbay, Jacques had already predicted his own ending. He had been committing various crimes throughout the past years. Considering the punishments for multiple crimes that he was involved in, he supposed he would spend the rest of his life in prison.

“Take good care of yourself and Chloe. If you want a divorce, you can ask a lawyer to hand me the divorce agreement. You're still young, so you can still find a partner to spend the rest of your life with if you remarry,” muttered Jacques.

Hearing that, Laura began bawling. She wanted to stop him, but her arms were clasped by several staff members. All she could do was watch Jacques being taken away.

After they let go of her, she slumped to the floor and watched blankly as the law enforcer's car drove away.

Just then, the butler, Charles, walked over to Laura with a phone in his hand and tried to comfort her. “Mrs. West, since things have come to this, you should try to let it go. Ms. West is calling. Do you wish to accept the call?”

Abruptly, Laura regained her senses and snatched the phone from Charles' hand. She held the phone next to her ear and asked frantically, “Chloe, where are you now? Your dad was arrested. Can you come back now, please? I have no one else but you, and you're my only family left.”

Chloe's sobbing voice came from the phone, along with her vicious words. “Bailey destroyed my family. I will never let this slide, and I will find her to settle the score clearly! Mom, I want to take her down with me!”

With that, Chloe ended the call directly.

When Laura heard that, her hand trembled, and the phone slipped from her fingers. It crashed onto the ground and broke into pieces. “C-Charles, hurry and send someone to look for Chloe! Don't let her do anything silly! She can't take Bailey down at the expense of her own life!”

“Okay, I'll send someone to look for Ms. West right away!”

In a hotel on the east side of the city, Chloe was on the phone with someone while leaning against the window. She was currently in a single room at the end of the third-floor hallway.
